DERBY - Create! STEAM activity (Ages 10-14) on Tuesday, March 21 from 4-5 p.m. at Derby Public Library. 
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) activity geared for tweens/teens featuring a Solar Robot Kit.

Water workshop for kids on tap at Derby Public Library

DERBY - Derby Public Library will present a Full STEAM Ahead program presented by the Regional Water Authority at 10 a.m. Oct. 14.

The free workshop by Whitney Water Center is for children in Grades K-5.

Children will participate in hands-on water science experiments/activities. Materials needed will be supplied.

Derby Neck Library hosts Gadgets and Gizmos via Zoom

DERBY - Join [Derby Neck Library's] Zoom program at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 to see Miss Krissy demonstrate basic, everyday STEAM projects you can do at home with thingamabobs you have lying around! 

Supply packs will be available via curbside pickup every week beginning on Saturdays.

Derby Public Library slates STEAM Ahead virtual workshop

DERBY - Derby Public Library will host a STEAM Ahead virtual Water Science Workshop at 10 a.m. Oct. 16.

This special STEAM Ahead story time will have the participation of the South Central CT Regional Water Authority which invites children ages 3-7 for this fun completely virtual educational workshop: Oozing Obleck! 

Kids, with adult supervision, will have some slime fun experimenting with Oblecks and water in various ways.
