ANSONIA - The Orionids is an average shower producing up to 20 meteors per hour at its peak! It is produced by dust grains left behind by Hailey’s Comet.
The shower runs annually from Oct. 2-Nov. 7 with its peak being on the night of Oct. 21 and 22. Come to the Nature Center at 10 DeerfIeld Lane and join ranger Jeremy for this all-ages astronomical event. FREE.
