Cassetti seeks toy donations for needy Ansonia children

ANSONIA - Mayor David S. Cassetti asks residents and visitors to donate a new toy for boys and girls in need in Ansonia.

Please stop by and drop a new toy off in our toy bins at City Hall donated by Burns Construction or at one of our other drop-off points at Spector Furniture or Road Ready Used Cars.

Derby Neck Library to host crafting fun via Zoom



DERBY - Derby Neck Library will host Crafting for Littles at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7 via Zoom. 

Every other Tuesday, Miss Sarah will be hosting crafting time for little ones over Zoom! 
This program is targeted to ages 3-5, but all are welcome! 
Every week will be a different theme, and supply packs will be available at the library beginning on the Saturday before the event. 
When you call to request a pack, you will also need to register for the Zoom invite, or you can register online by signing up for our Youth Services mailing list here: https://forms.gle/EUp2yRBLFNJVMnz17
Join us for some creativity and bonding time with your little one!

Ansonia Library event to feature violinist, tale from China


ANSONIA - Please join us at 11 a.m. Dec. 11 at the Ansonia Library in welcoming The New Haven Symphony Orchestra's own Anna Leunis as she bridges music, culture, and literacy into an 
event for all ages!
We will hear the story of Lon Po Po, a Little Red Riding Hood tale from China, while Anna Leunis colors the story with her violin playing throughout.
