Police remind public of traffic delays Sunday around Seymour Pumpkin Festival


SEYMOUR - With the Pumpkin Festival right around the corner Seymour Police remind the public there will be traffic delays on the Route 67 (New Haven Avenue) corridor. 

The public is asked to recognize the designated parking areas and no parking signs on the day of the Festival.

Derby Public Library slates resume 'right-ing' workshop



DERBY - **RESUME "RIGHT"-ING** Workshops are back at Derby Public Library! Our next one is at 6 p.m. Oct. 5.Participants can either start from scratch or bring copies of existing resumes / cover letters for review and optimization. No registration required. Bittersweet Wreath Workshop – Oct. 1, 2 p.m.

Bring your clippers and gardening gloves for this workshop led by Ranger Dawn. 

When you collect these beautiful orange-berried vines, you’re helping the park by removing this invasive plant species. Create a beautiful fall wreath for your home or a gift. 

This program is geared towards 12+ Adults.
