Featured performer STILL RIVERS from 7-8 p.m. and open mic from 8-9 p.m.

Sip on a great cup of coffee, enjoy delicious treats, and soak in the relaxed atmosphere filled with music, and good vibes.

'Tea with the Queen' at Derby Public Library to feature historical performer


DERBY - Join the Derby Historical Society and Derby Public Library for “Tea with the Queen” at 11 a.m. Nov. 2.

This free event is open to the public. It features tea and finger foods while watching a presentation by historical performer Sheryl Faye as Queen Elizabeth II.

Derby Public Library to hold Breaking into the Biz! workshop

DERBY - Have you ever been curious as to what it takes to become an actor? 
Does your child have talent and you want to give them an opportunity to be seen? 
Kathryn Sasha


Actress/Director/Producer Kathryn Shasha shares her 20 years experience in an informative workshop at 6:30 p.m. June 4 at Derby Public Library. 
She will talk about what it takes to break into the business of acting without breaking your wallet. 
Participants will:
• Gain a basic understanding of the business;
• Learn to avoid the scams;
• Learn what tools are truly necessary to become a working actor.

Space is limited; registration is required. Register online or by calling the Reference Desk, 203-736-1482.
