Ansonia PD posts DOT milling, resurfacing project on Route 334

CTDOT is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 334 in Ansonia starting on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 334 (Franklin Street/Maple Street) in Ansonia. 

This project is scheduled to occur on Thursday, June 11 and be completed on Thursday, June 18, 2026. 

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.73-mile segment of Route 334 in Ansonia from Waklee Avenue to Olson Drive. This project is scheduled to begin milling by Black and Boucher on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The resurfacing segment of this project by O&G Industries is anticipated to begin on Tuesday, June 16 to Thursday, June 18, 2026.

Ansonia updates milling, paving schedule

PAVING UPDATE: Due to the weather, the schedule has changed slightly.

Milling is beginning today (Wednesday), please view the schedule below. All streets have been posted for no parking and police have been ordered for traffic control.

Paving will start on Friday, 10/17, and will follow the same order as the milling schedule. Paving on Summer, Winter, and N. Cliff on Saturday to avoid any issues with Assumption School on N. Cliff St.

Ansonia posts street milling schedule starting Monday

Beginning Monday, Oct. 13, Burns Construction will begin milling the streets with the schedule below.

No parking with be posted accordingly.

Monday, 10/13: Rufus St., Murray St., Fifth St.

Tuesday, 10/14: Summer St., Winter St., N. Cliff St.

Wednesday, 10/15: Hill St., Adam St., Chester St.

Thursday, 10/16: Finish Chester St., Farrel Dr.

Klarides-Ditria: Milling, resurfacing project slated in May on Route 67 in Seymour

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 67 in Seymour between Sunday, May 9, 2021, and Thursday May 20, 2021. The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.55-mile segment of Route 67 from the Oxford town line to Route 721.  The milling portion of the project is scheduled to occur from Sunday, May 9, 2021, to Wednesday May 12, 2021. The resurfacing portion of the project is scheduled to occur from Sunday, May 16, 2021, to Thursday May 20, 2021. This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program. Drivers can expect delays and one lane alternating traffic.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide drivers through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday) Drivers should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions and are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed in this vicinity.
