Shops at Seymour to hold sidewalk sale Saturday; social distancing required
SEYMOUR - Join us this Saturday [from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.] as several downtown shops and their vendors will be offering various specials, one-of-a-kind treasures, new arrivals, and more.

COVID-19 prompts temporary changes at Lizzie's Corner shop in Seymour

Dear Lizzie's Corner community, Our business is temporarily changing due to COVID-19: • We are hosting an Open Air Market outside the shop. Social distancing and masks will be required to protect our staff, you, and other customers. • We will be open from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. daily with a great variety from our huge inventory. We will be mixing it up a little each day so stop by often. • Curbside pickup and local delivery will still be an option, as well as shipping for the cost of postage. If you’re looking for ways to protect yourself and your loved ones, check out the CDC website. Thank you so much for sticking with us. We appreciate your support during these challenging times. |

Head to downtown Seymour on the First Saturday of July for our monthly celebration! Shops are open late, live music and cornhole in the streets, great deals and refreshments! Grab a friend and come get a bite to eat and stroll!
Our Seymour Culture And Arts Summer Concert Series returns at 6 p.m. with Larry Ayce! Concert is free to the public - just bring your chairs. Dancing in the streets is more than welcome!

Project Purple hosting 'The Chamo' at Food Truck Friday in Seymour
"Food truck season is back and with the warmer weather, Project Purple is bringing some awesome food to downtown Seymour!
"To spread awareness of our mission to create a world without pancreatic cancer, we're bringing 6 different food trucks to 115 Main Street in the lot next to the train station.
"Trucks will be in the lot from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on a select Friday each month."
Dates & Trucks:
April 26 - Big Green Eggs and Hamburgers
May 31 - The Chamo
June 21 - Milkcraft
July 26 - Firehouse Grill & Food Trucks
Aug 30 - Mini Munch Food Truck
Sep. 20 - Fryborg

"Farmer Jenny will be visiting with adorable Bunnies from our neighbor DeMartino's Farm. Bring some carrots and the family, young and old, to meet the bunnies and take some photos. Refreshments and other activities are planned for the day. This is a free event."
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Lizzie's Corner Consignment and Gifts, 36 Bank St., Seymour.
