Recuperation journey: My lucky day

UPDATE: Flounder is now hidden inside a building in downtown Derby.

ANSONIA - After somehow making my way in the hot afternoon sun from my car into Target I went over to get a shopping cart.

I took a double take when I looked down into the cart and spied this cute Valley Rocks CT painted rock!

Whoever painted it has a lot of artistic talent.

It's the third rock I've found. I posted the other two back in the fall.
One was in Seymour after the Pounding the Pavement for Pink 5K in October, and the second was in Derby at the Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital in November.

Hmm...where shall I hide this one?

Recuperation journey: Mission accomplished

I hid the second Valley Rocks CT rock I found

This is what it looks like:

I found it in Derby and I hid it in plain sight in a building in Ansonia.
I hope when someone finds it that he or she posts it on the Valley Rocks CT Facebook page.

Now I'm looking forward to finding another Valley Rock.

Recuperation journey: Found another Valley Rocks rock

I was thrilled to discover another Valley Rocks rock Tuesday.
A few days ago I hid the first one I had found last month at Pounding the Pavement for Pink in Seymour.
I placed that one inside a building in downtown Derby. I hope it brings a smile to the person who finds it.

I found the second one, a tiny rock pictured above, outside the entrance to the Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital in Derby.

I won't wait so long to place it somewhere for a passerby to discover. I promise.

Recuperation journey: Found a Valley Rocks CT rock

... at Pounding the Pavement for Pink in Seymour

Here's the link to the Valley Rocks CT Facebook page! Check it out. :)
I was so happy to find one of these wonderful rocks I had read about. They are painted with love.
