Plumb Memorial Library in Shelton to hold paint chip poetry event for kids



Grades: 3-6
Day/ Date: Thursday, April 24
Time: 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Location: Plumb Memorial Library, 65 Wooster St., Shelton 

Creative kids are welcome to celebrate National Poetry Month with Ms. Maura as she reads some imaginative poems about color and nature and then teach participants how to individually write amazing one-of-kind poetry based on innovative paint chips!  

Poets will also have an opportunity to share their vivid poems too!
Registration required for each child poet attending. 

Please only register your child for three children’s programs per month at Plumb Memorial Library. This being done to provide as many children an opportunity to attend a program at the library. Thank You.

Plumb Memorial Library in Shelton to mark National Poetry Month


 

Celebrate National Poetry Month 



Day/Time: Thursday, April 18, 6-7 p.m.
Location: Plumb Memorial Library, 65 Wooster St., Shelton

Poets and those who love poetry are invited to share their favorite poem or poems – ones you have written or those of an author whose work you enjoy! 

Each participant will be allotted up to five minutes to share with the group. This event is open to adults and high school age students. (Do you love to listen to poetry? You can be an audience member! We need listeners too. )
