Seed Bomb Crafting and HikeMay 2 at 1:30 p.m. ANSONIA - Support habitat restoration efforts by crafting seed balls to disperse on a hike, and take an extra seed ball home for yourself! Support native plants this National Wildflower Week by helping the Nature Center disperse seed balls. Seed balls (or seed bombs) are made by combining seeds, clay, and a bit of soil into a protective ball. This program will begin with the creation of seed balls (so be prepared for muddy hands!), then a hike to disperse them in our woods to support habitat restoration efforts. Participants will also be able to make a seed ball for themselves to take home! FREE - donations welcome! The Center is at 10 Deerfield Lane. | |
