Ansonia Nature Center slates 2 programs April 29

Birds on the Move  April 29, 9-10 a.m. Spring is underway, and many birds are busy migrating. Join Ranger Evelyn for a bird walk and learn how and why birds migrate.  Binoculars are provided, or you can bring your own.  All ages are welcome. Wildflower Seed Bombs  April 29, 2-3 p.m. Native American gardeners invented seed bombs, and the hippies in the 1970s caught on to this practice to Green up empty urban lots.  Let’s get those fingers mushing a mixture of clay, soil, and seeds to make our seed bombs. We will be using responsibly harvested seeds that are beneficial and non-invasive to Connecticut.  While a young child can do this activity, adults will want to make their seed bombs as well!  All ages welcome, $6 per family register at ansnaturectr@ansoniact.org This is shared from the nature center's newsletter.
