Derby Historical Society to release 'A Day in 1762' film, present Howe Award

ANSONIA -  Derby Historical Society will present the release of its virtual “A Day in 1762”, which is celebrating its 40th-consecutive year, at 7 p.m. June 26. 

This film was created as a way to keep our little learners in touch with their colonial past. Come and join us for this exciting outdoor event at the Gen. David Humphreys House, 37 Elm St.

The night’s event will begin with the presentation of the Dr. John Ireland Howe Award to Pat Tarasovic who earned the distinction for her years of service to the people of the Lower Naugatuck Valley.
