Community choir performs inspiring music at Naugatuck church

'Sounds of Liberty' concert
Bell at St. Hedwig's Church in Naugatuck.
NAUGATUCK - My husband, Ralph, and I attended a most enjoyable concert Sunday afternoon performed by the Naugatuck Community Choir.

A friend of mine sings in the choir and invited us to attend.

The concert, Sounds of Liberty, was performed in the sanctuary of St. Hedwig's Church.
The choir also presented the concert Friday at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Waterbury.

Kudos to music director Mark C. Silva of Waterbury, accompanist Susan Anthony-Klein of Brookfield, and all of the singers for putting on a great performance.
Members hail from Naugatuck, Waterbury, Beacon Falls, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, and several other surrounding communities.

The group is open to all who want to sing and be a part of a choral community.
No auditions!
Members rehearse at 7 p.m. Mondays at Naugatuck High School.
