Great Hill United Methodist Church in Seymour slates dinner; reservations needed

SEYMOUR - Reservations are due by Aug. 30 for Great Hill United Methodist Church’s annual Lobster/Chicken Dinner.

Pick up your reserved dinners between 4 and 7 p.m. Sept. 4.

The menu includes: 1¼ lb. steamed lobster, baked potato, corn on the cob, coleslaw, and dessert. 

All this will be packaged and ready for you to pick up for $25. Add an extra whole steamed lobster for just $12 more. Or instead, enjoy a 1/4 chicken meal for $16.

You’ll need the following ingredients for this recipe: tortillas, onion, garlic, olive oil, 1 bell pepper, frozen corn, 1 can of beans (Black, Pinto, etc.), shredded Mexican cheese, avocado, lime plus seasoning of your choice (Cumin, Garlic Powder, Chili Flakes, etc.).
