-Observe which items floated and which ones sunk
-Answer the questions labeled: ‘After you’re done’
-If you want to do the experiment again, try using different items or try different sized items to see if their size changes the outcome

Before you Start Questions:

3. Why do you think these items will float/sink?

After you’re Done Questions:

The current Facebook challenge to post one black and white photo a day for seven days  without people or explanation has inspired me to share a few more here. Just for fun.

So ... who is up for a sepia challenge? It could be interesting.

Sharing Seymour photo used for today's B & W challenge

I liked how this photo came out in black and white that I posted for a Facebook challenge and I thought I'd share it here.
It's a view of the fish bypass channel near the Tingue Dam on the Naugatuck River in downtown Seymour.

I unplugged, used the stove, and made a Valentine's treat

This is what happened when I stayed off the computer for an hour this morning. I made Valentine's Day doughnuts, a day late.

It was my first time ever making doughnuts...I used an easy recipe I found on Facebook.
The other two people in the house tell me they are quite good. Or as Ralph said, "Really, really good."
