Derby Town/City Clerk posts hours for Tax Collector Office this week

The Derby Tax Collector Office will be open for limited hours as follows:

 

Wednesday May 4, 2022 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Friday May 6, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The Derby Tax Collector Office will resume normal office hours on Monday May 9, 2022.

The following offices at Derby City Hall will re-open on Tuesday May 3, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. for regular business hours:

 

Tax Collector’s Office – Closed until Monday May 9, 2022

WPCA Office - Closed until Monday May 9, 2022

Building Department – Closed until Monday May 9, 2022

Assessor’s Office – Open on Tuesday May 3, 2022

Fire Marshal – Open on Tuesday May 3, 2022

Town/City Clerk Office – Open on Tuesday May 3, 2022

Registrar of Voters – Open on Tuesday May 3, 2022

Finance Office – Open on Tuesday May 3, 2022

Mayor’s Office – Open on Tuesday May 3, 2022

Sewage pipe break closes Town Clerk's Office in Derby City Hall



DERBY - The Derby Town Clerk’s Office will be closed at 1 p.m. today, March 17, and all day on Friday, March 18 due to a sewage pipe break.

 

We will be checking email and voice mails and responding as appropriate.

 

If you need any service from the office on either day, please email requests@derbyct.gov and we will accommodate your request.

 

We regret any inconvenience and hope that your St. Patrick’s Day is filled with the luck of the Irish and hope we benefit from the same!

Derby reminds residents of trash pickup ordinance

"A gentle reminder from the City of Derby regarding our Ordinance regarding the timing and placement of trash for pick up:

 

§ 167-15 - Placement of containers.

 

B.  No solid waste container shall be placed along the public right-of-way before 12:00 p.m. on the day prior to the scheduled pickup day. All solid waste containers shall be removed from the public right-of-way no later than 8:00 p.m. on the scheduled pickup day.
