Free education event slated at The Griffin Center for Healthy Living in Oxford


OXFORD - The Griffin Center for Healthy Living Teaching Kitchen presents Building a Healthy Gut Microbiome Featuring Fermented Foods Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. at The Griffin Center for Healthy Living at Quarry Walk, 300 Oxford Road.

Join us for a free health education event that explores the basis of the body’s gut microbiome and how the standard American diet impacts functioning and inflammation. 

Former executive director of Massaro Farm and sustainable nutrition expert Caty Poole will discuss small changes that can improve the overall health of the intestinal tract, including the incorporation of fermented foods to balance the digestive system.
