Sunday, Oct. 1 at 2 p.m.

Rev. Richard Mansfield House

37 Jewett St., Ansonia
Parking available across the street in the St. Joseph's Church parking lot. Please do not park in the lot of the rectory.

In honor of the Rev. Richard Mansfield's 300th birthday, the Derby Historical Society is inviting you to a sneak peek of his home.

This historic building, built in 1700 and on the National Register of Historic Places, was purchased by the Derby Historical Society last year. Plans are underway to restore the building and move it to the same lot as the David Humphreys House (37 Elm St., Ansonia) to make it accessible to the public once again.

Join the Reverend, who holds the record for the longest-serving rectorship in the United States (72 years!) for a slice of cake and a peek inside his home.

This is a press release from the Derby Historical Society.
