Ansonia Police arrest juvenile in robbery at Cumberland Farms



ANSONIA - Police investigated a robbery complaint at 4 a.m. Dec. 27 at the Cumberland Farms, 5 Pershing Drive. 
The female victim reported that while she was pumping gas two black males approached her and robbed her. The victim reported one of the males was armed with a handgun which he used to strike her in the head before the suspects fled in a white sedan.
Police said today that on Jan. 4 one of the suspects, a 17 year-old male juvenile, was arrested by warrant. 
He was charged with robbery first degree and conspiracy to commit robbery first degree, he was then turned over to juvenile authorities.
Additional arrests are expected.
