Huntington Branch Library slates STEM Night for Grades 5-9


SHELTON - Registration for Grades 5-9 STEM Night: Playing Mario on Mushrooms is now open! 
Presented by the Southern Connecticut State University Maker Space: Using a circuit board known as a Makey-Makey we run an electrical current through portabella mushrooms to turn them into controllers. We will play the original Super Mario Bros that uses 3 lives, classic arcade style, and whoever has the most in-game points for those three lives will win the tournament! Entries can be single players or teams of 3.

This program is open to children in GRADES 5-9. Each child must register individually. Registration is required. 
Caregivers of children under the age of 12 must remain in the building for the duration of the program.The Library is at 41 Church St.
