DERBY - An Israel flag raising ceremony will be held at noon Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Derby City Hall.
The holiest Jewish holiday Yom Kippur begins at sundown Tuesday and ends at sundown Wednesday.
The holiday is a Day of Atonement. It is celebrated by repentance, self-reflection, and 25 hours of fasting.
