Shelton to distribute at-home COVID test kits, masks today at high school

The following message is from the Shelton Office of Emergency Management:

"This morning the City of Shelton only received 2,500 COVID-19 at-home test kits from the State along with N95 masks.
Distribution of the kits and the masks will take place today, Sunday, January 2 at 1 p.m. at Shelton High School. You must be a Shelton resident and identification is required to receive a test and mask.
Entrance to the high school will only be from North Constitution Blvd. The high school Meadow St entrance will be closed to all vehicular traffic.
The purpose of this distribution is to provide test kits to be used this week to reduce the spread of the Omicron virus and to supplement existing testing. The primary focus is for residents who have a known exposure or are symptomatic and are unable to find another test."
