Derby Public Library to host online origami seed pot program

DERBY - Celebrate Earth Day by making a newspaper origami seed pot! 

This online event hosted by Derby Public Library is scheduled for 11 a.m. April 10.

In less than an hour, all ages can learn to make biodegradable seedling pots that you can plant right in the ground once your seeds are ready. 

Perfect for tomatoes and other fragile plants. Instructor Dawn Zillich leads this virtual program that will be held via Zoom.

No experience necessary. Maximum 15 attendees. Best suited for grades 5 and older.
Materials:
One double spread sheet of newspaper (Broadsheets like the Hartford Courant not tabloid size)
