Derby Neck Library to host "Miracle on 34th Street," tea talk, more

DERBY - Derby Neck Library presents a free program, “Cutting the Cord,” at 6 p.m. Dec 3. It explains how to drop your cable TV bill and move over to streaming services.  
Options will be discussed, such as which service best fits your needs among those all recently added to the market. 

Dinner and a Movie
The Library hosts “Dinner and a Movie” for ages 18 and older at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 6. 
This month’s film is the holiday classic, “Miracle on 34th Street.” 
Free movie refreshments will be served, including pizza dinner at intermission. 

Tea expert to speak
At 6:30 p.m. Dec. 12 the Library hosts “Fighting Colds and Flu with Tea,” with tea expert Philip Parda.  
Parda owns a company dedicated to the selection and importation of the best teas on a world-wide basis.  
A tea-tasting session is included with his talk. Seating is limited to 20; call ahead to reserve a space.
