ANSONIA - Kara Rochelle, candidate for state representative in the 104th District to represent Ansonia and Derby, has received the endorsement of the Communication Workers of America, Local 1298.
“Kara’s commitment to the betterment of the working class, and recognizing the value organized labor provides in that journey is a recipe for success. We are confident Kara will deliver for her constituents. We know we can count on Kara to fight for the working people, retirees and our children’s future,” said David Weidlich Jr, President of CWA Local 1298.
“I’m fiercely dedicated to protecting our working class,” said Rochelle. “I know that our focus needs to be in creating stable, decent paying jobs with fair benefits for our residents in the valley and all over the state."
About CWA 1298: Over 3,300 members strong, CWA Local 1298 has bargained contracts with Frontier Communications, AT&T, AT&T Mobility - Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Computer Sciences Corporation, DEX LLC, Unite HERE Alliance, and T-Mobile.
To date Rochelle has received endorsements from Congresswoman Rosa L. DeLauro, state Rep. Linda M. Gentile, Connecticut’s Working Families Party and the Connecticut AFL-CIO.
