Read to canine friend Wednesday at Derby Neck Library

Spirit is ready to listen to young readers.

DERBY - Derby Neck Library children's librarian Miss Kathi will host another popular B.A.R.K. program at 5 p.m. Wednesday and all ages are invited to drop in and BE A READING KID to a guest dog at the library, 307 Hawthorne Ave. 

Spirit, who is a Newfoundland, is a great listener. You can bring your own book or choose one from the library. If children simply want to stop in to say hello and visit, that’s fine. 

No registration is needed.
