After the Storm Foundation assists Circle of Friends at Griffin in Derby

DERBY - 'Circle of Friends' breast cancer support group members at Griffin Hospital helped create a slideshow last week for After the Storm Foundation's 10th Anniversary Art Bra Show.
Pictured above are just some of the members of the group.

The After the Storm Foundation was founded by Christine Willett, who was diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant with her second child.
Integrative therapies got her through "the storm" and now she, along with volunteers, raise funds to support institutions that offer integrative therapies as part of their treatment and survivorship program.
After the Storm supports Griffin Hospital's massage therapy program for cancer patients and survivors.
In the last seven years, Griffin has received more than $33,000 to support the program.

The slideshow of survivors will be shown at After the Storm's 10th annual Art Bra Show on Aug. 9 at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville.

This post is based on a press release from Griffin Hospital. Full disclosure: I'm a member of the support group.
