Beer, cheese pairing class in Oxford to benefit CT Partnership for Children


OXFORD - Black Hog Brewing Co. of Oxford and Caseus Fromagerie of New Haven will host the first ever Hogs N' Curds event Feb. 25 at Colonial Tavern, 24 Hawley Road. 

This event will benefit Connecticut Partnership for Children, Inc., a 501c3 organization located in Seymour and dedicated to supporting low-income children throughout the state.

The event will feature beer-inspired appetizers, a beer and cheese pairing class, and beer-inspired sweets from Wildflour Confections of Seymour. 
During the pairing class, guests will sample Black Hog beer and Connecticut made cheeses, as well as Winding Drive jams of Woodbury, and local honey. 
The event is focused on supporting local small businesses, while benefitting a good cause. 

Tickets are $50 per person, and include all appetizers, the class, and dessert. 
A cash bar will be available after the class, while guests mingle.

The doors open at 5:45 p.m. and close promptly at 6:30 p.m. for the class. No late arrivals, please. The class is approximately 1.5 hours, dessert, music, and cash bar will immediately follow.
