Chess club, games slated for teens at Derby Public Library

DERBY - The Derby Public Library will host YA Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. Dec. 2.

All young adults ages 12 to 17 are invited to join the fun with Nintendo Wii, board games, and Legos. 
Light refreshments will be provided. 

Chess club
The Library's Teen Chess Club invites all young adults ages 12 to 17 to meetings, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Mondays, Dec. 7 and 14. 
All skill levels are welcome. 
Participants will learn how the game is played as well as defensive/offensive strategies. 

Julio Maldonado provides superb expertise from a life-long love for the game.
