Derby Library to host games, Internet safety talk for teens


DERBY - The Derby Public Library Teen Chess Club invites all young adults ages 12 to 17 to meetings each Monday in November from 6:30-7:30 p.m. 
All skill levels are welcome. Participants will learn how the game is played as well as defensive/offensive strategies. 
Julio Maldonado provides superb expertise from a life-long love for the game. 

YA Wednesdays
The Library hosts YA Wednesdays every month from 6-7:30 p.m. All young adults ages 12 to 17 are invited to join the fun Nov. 4 and 18. Nintendo Wii, board games and Legos will be available. 
Light refreshments will be provided. 

Teen Talk

The Library invites all young adults ages 12 to 17 to Teen Talk – On-Line Safety, Thursday, Nov. 5, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., to uncover and help avoid pitfalls of the Internet and social media. 
Registration is requested.
