Derby to host 9/11 remembrance Friday on Green

DERBY - The Hotchkiss Hose Company #1 will hold a Ceremony of Remembrance at 6 p.m. Friday (Sept. 11) on the Derby Green.

Past Fire Chiefs William Nicoletti and Gary Parker will speak at the event to mark the 14th anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks.

Additionally, the announcement of newly purchased bricks that will be added to the walkway leading up to the monument will be made.
