Salvation Army in Ansonia posts ways to make a difference this Christmas
17 Days ‘til Christmas – 100 Days to Make a Difference.
Parents Second Time Around is geared to providing relative caregivers the support necessary to raise and provide effective care for the children they are parenting.
The Salvation Army is located at 26 Lester St., Ansonia.
Ansonia ceremony marks 82nd anniversary of Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor
Mayor David S. Cassetti honors the memory of Ansonia native Jim Sardo, a U.S. Marine and hero who gave his life in battle on Okinawa, an island in the South Pacific. He was only 20 years old.
Members of Gordon Visselli Post 50 American Legion of Ansonia fire three rounds into the sky.
The Ansonia High School chorus led by music teacher Maria Tangredi performed several patriotic songs during the 30-minute program.

Kids can create indoor snow sculptures at Derby Neck Library program
DERBY - Let’s bring the snowy fun inside Derby Neck Library for an artistic science experiment featuring fake snow that really gets cold!
Youth ages 5+ are invited to the Community Room to create their very own unique snow sculptures. We’ll also provide watercolor paints, accessories, fun tools, and hot cocoa for all.

SEYMOUR - The Friends of the Seymour Public Library will hold a used book sale this weekend.
Members Only - Dec. 8 from 2-4 p.m.
Open to Public - Dec. 9 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

SEYMOUR - Join us at 10:30 a.m. this Friday in the lower level auditorium of Seymour Public Library to watch a movie!
Light refreshments will be served.

We'll be showing "Love Sarah" starring Celia Imrie, Shannon Tarbet, and Shelley Conn.
