Ansonia gardener's plant sales to benefit St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank in Derby


Our green-thumbed and generous pantry friend, Diane, is supporting St. Vincent de Paul with sales of her own greenhouse grown plants over the next two weekends - May 8 & 9, 15 & 16!
164 Hull St., Ansonia, noon-6 p.m.
Vegetables, herbs, flowers, hanging baskets, and multi-flower planters!

CWV Post Auxiliary in Derby to hold flower, tag sale

DERBY - Catholic War Veterans' Auxiliary Post 1562 of Derby will hold a Mother’s Day Weekend Flower Sale and Tag Sale from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Donations for the Tag Sale may be dropped off at the Post, 112 Derby Ave., starting after 1 p.m. Thursday.

It will be a one-stop shopping weekend with proceeds from both events benefitting the Auxiliary and its programs for veterans.
