The Alehounds to perform today on Derby Green

 DERBY - The Alehounds will play Celtic and folk rock music starting at 6:30 p.m. today on the Derby Green.

Next Friday at 6:30 p.m. The Barons will perform Motown and R&B music.

Sponsored by Derby 350 and the City of Derby.

DERBY - The Jolly Beggars will perform Irish folk music from 6:30-8:30 p.m. today at the Gazebo on the Green.

The free event is part of the city's End of Summer Concert Series.

Celtic Festival slated at Seymour Middle School

SEYMOUR - The Naugatuck Community Band will present a Celtic Festival at 7 p.m. March 12 at Seymour Middle School, 211 Mountain Road.

The concert is a celebration of Irish, Scottish, and British music.

The Seymour Culture and Arts Commission is sponsoring the event.
