St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Shop and Food Bank decluttering challenge starts today

Each day of Lent, fill a bag or box with things you no longer use/need and donate to our thrift shop that supports our very busy food pantry!

Did you know that in 2023 we distributed 263,994 pounds of food - produce, meats, dairy, bread, and nonperishables - to in-need residents of Derby, Shelton, Ansonia, Seymour, and Oxford? That's 22% more than the year before!

Also, worn out clothing can be recycled by us (bag and label separately please)
Open Monday to Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., 237 Roosevelt Drive, Derby.

Donation bin available for after hours.

St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop in Derby to start decluttering challenge

Please help our thrift shop thrive and donate your unneeded items - clothing, household/kitchen items, bedding/towels, collectibles, small appliances, toys, all-holiday decor, jewelry, furniture, collectibles and more!

Worn out clothing? No worries, we recycle unusable fabrics by the pound!
We are a low-cost shopping alternative for many, a Connecticut "thrifter's paradise" destination, and a source of support for our food bank - which set a 40 year record in pounds of food given out in 2022 - 216,508 pounds! We couldn't have done it alone. Thank you 🙏

Open Mon to Sat, 9:30-2:30, 203-734-7577.

Drive around back and ring the buzzer or use our blue donation bin after hours! Located at 237 Roosevelt Drive, Derby.
