Ansonia resident Lakesha Stines, right, meets Waterbury resident Annette 'Kizzy' Mosley, center, and her daughter Tyanna at Black Wall Street this week at Hill Regional Career High School in New Haven.
The event seeks to inspire black youth to become entrepreneurs and small business owners. Vendors included educators, chefs, artists, authors, and more.
Stines, an entrepreneur, was invited to the event because she has invented Sober Touch Sensoring, a device that prevents drunk driving.
Small business owner Mosley sells Pure Inner G, a 100 percent natural hair, face, and body butter.
