Logan, Griffin Hospital advocate for CT school-based health centers

State Sen. George S. Logan attended an informational forum last week about school-based health centers at the state capitol.  
Among attendees at the event was Griffin Hospital Social Service Coordinator Rita Crana, at right, who briefed state lawmakers on the quality services provided by Griffin Faculty Physicians at Ansonia High School’s Charger Health Center.  
The Center’s community partners include:  Lower Naugatuck Valley Parent Child Resource Center, Naugatuck Valley Health District, Valley Substance Abuse Action Council, Community Health Network, and the American Liver Foundation.  
Logan, who serves as Vice-Chair of the state legislature’s Public Health Committee, represents Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Derby, Hamden, Naugatuck, and Woodbridge.
