Rail safety program planned at Derby Public Library



DERBY - The Derby Public Library, 313 Elizabeth St., will host a program by Metro-North Railroad TRACKS (Together Railroads and Communities Keeping Safe) at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 9.

Allison Lester, Safety Education Program Specialist, will present, Get There Safe! 
This outreach program in partnership with the MTA Police Department is designed to educate the Metro-North community about rail safety.

The TRACKS program content covers three topics: Grade crossings, rider safety, and trespassing. 
Metro-North is the second largest commuter railroad in the country.

Registration is requested.
