Recycle, repurpose, reuse class, Tech Time slated at Derby Public Library

DERBY - The Derby Public Library has scheduled a Recycle, Repurpose, and Reuse Craft Class at 6:30 p.m. May 17.


Ansonia Animal Control Officer Jeanie Roslonowski returns  to show participants, ages 18 and over, how to make worry beads.

These beads have several uses in Greek culture, including providing relaxation, guarding against bad luck, and helping to stop a bad habit.
All materials will be provided. The class will also include information on conservation and animal issues.

Registration is required.

Tech Time
The Library offers monthly Tech Time sessions.  
Every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. and every third Thursday of the month at 10 a.m. a staff member will be on hand to answer all your tech-related questions and concerns.

The May dates also will include a demonstration of the Library's recently purchased 3-D printer.

Whether you are having trouble downloading e-books, searching databases, completing on-line job applications, 
scanning/sending documents and photos, etc., your problems will be addressed.
The next sessions will be held at 6:30 p.m. May 18, and at 10 a.m. May 19.
No registration is needed.
