Reservations are due Aug. 26 for Great Hill UMC's annual Lobster/Chicken dinner!

For $30, enjoy a steamed lobster dinner that includes baked potato, corn on the cob, coleslaw, ready-to-heat clam chowder, and a dessert.

(You can add an additional lobster for $18.) A 1/4 chicken meal with the same sides is $18.

Kids offered chance to read to therapy dog Tuesday at Derby Neck Library

DERBY - It's the most wonderful time of the month at Derby Neck Library: BARK! 

On the last Tuesday of the month, you have the chance to practice your reading skills and develop confidence by reading a story to the biggest, sleepiest, most utterly indifferent dog you'll ever meet in your life. 

Come to the Children's Room at 5:30 p.m. to pet that pup! The Library is at 307 Hawthorne Ave.
