Enjoy free movie, rock concert Aug. 28 at Nolan Field in Ansonia

ANSONIA - Strike Hard. Strike First. Nolan Field.

Mayor David S. Cassetti and staff invite you to Nolan Field on Aug. 28 for a FREE showing of the original 80’s classic THE KARATE KID *and* a totally rad LIVE performance by Connecticut indie rockers HAWKINS, who will be playing 80’s era hits.

This neon flavored movie + music night will *not* be drive-in style. Guests are asked to bring blankets and lawn chairs, or utilize Nolan Field’s event seating.

Expect classic movie trailers, a raffle, great food and MORE.

'Superheroes' visit Ansonia park, residents enjoy movie

It was perfect weather Friday evening for Ansonia's first outdoor movie event at Veterans Park. Residents of all ages enjoyed a free showing of Marvel's 'The Avengers.'

   First up was a 'Tom and Jerry' cartoon.

   The main event, Marvel's 2012 blockbuster, 'The Avengers.'

Ansonia Mayor David S. Cassetti holds Captain America's shield. Several 'superheroes' surround Cassetti before the show.

Treasured Time is excited to host its first Outdoor Movie Night! 

Come enjoy a fun family evening viewing of “The Sandlot” under the stars with us on July 25 at Derby Little League field, 55 Nutmeg Ave.

Price: $5/person Admission

Come early for the best seats! Bring your chairs & blankets!

The concession stand will be open for snacks and drinks!

Try your luck at our many themed raffle baskets!

We will have "glow" items for sale as well!
