Little Free Pantry in Ansonia seeks donations for cooler purchase, installation

Sharing today's post on the Little Free Pantry on Church Facebook page: 

"We found a cooler that we feel is in good shape and will work nicely for our purpose. We’ll have to pour a pad and put some shading over it, plus purchase it and rent a truck to move it.

"We don’t request donations often, but if anyone would like to help sponsor this new venture and help ensure food safety during the coming warm months, we’d be ever so grateful. Anything helps, even $1.

Justice for George Floyd peaceful protest planned Thursday in Ansonia

We will be meeting at Veterans Memorial Park next to City Hall at 3 p.m. Thursday.
About 3:30, we’ll be walking from Veterans Memorial Park to the Ansonia Police Department, 2 Elm St.
