'55 Flood is topic of talk at Seymour Public Library

SEYMOUR - Town historian Marion O’Keefe will present a followup to last year's talk on Seymour’s flood of Aug. 19, 1955 at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Seymour Public Library.
The Library is at 46 Church St.

O'Keefe will discuss the Naugatuck Valley’s widespread destruction and flooding of towns along the Housatonic and Naugatuck Rivers.

O'Keefe looks forward to hearing audience members' memories of the flood that proved to be one of Connecticut’s greatest natural disasters.
