ANSONIA - The Ansonia Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile runaway, 14-year-old Leah Ortiz.
She was last seen on Jan. 2, 2025 in the area of Arch Street and Howard Avenue.
Ortiz is 5 foot 2 inches tall, 110 pounds, with brown eyes and brown and red hair.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the police department at 203-735-1885 or anonymous tips can be left at Tip411 at the link below.

Derby Neck Library to host presentation on 20th century cosmetic history
DERBY - From the softly powdered “natural” complexions of 1900s Gibson Girls to the smudged eyeliner of the 1990s riot grrrls, the face of American beauty changed drastically over the course of the 20th Century.
