The Shelton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating John Mushala who was last seen on June 19, 2026, at approximately 5 p.m. in the area of 45 Maltby St. in Shelton.

Ansonia Police seek public's assistance in locating city teen

ANSONIA - The Ansonia Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing person who left her home on the 21st.

Taleah Barros is a 16-year-old female, approximately 5’5” tall, weighing 265 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, black sweatpants, and a green backpack. She also has a flower tattoo on her left forearm and a lip piercing.

Barros is known to frequent the New Haven area.

UPDATE: Gray has been located and is safe. 

The Ansonia Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in locating Aaron Gray, a 26-year-old Ansonia resident who made statements of self-harm to members of his family. 

Gray is a black male with black hair and brown eyes, he is 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs 218 pounds. Last contact with his family was about 12 p.m. today [April 15] and was believed to be in the Seymour and Beacon Falls area. 

Gray may be in a 2018 Chevy Cruz color blue bearing CT license plate BU98778.

ANSONIA - The Ansonia Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in locating Ansonia resident Denise Alfano, who was last seen Jan. 30 in the area of Saw Mill Road in West Haven. 

Alfano is a 58 year-old white female, 5 feet 8 inches tall, about 300 pounds with brown hair and eyes. 

Alfano has medical issues requiring medication and it is believed she has not taken her medication.

ANSONIA -  Ansonia Police are looking for the public’s assistance in locating Cosimo Cariolo, 56, of Ansonia. 

Cariolo left his home this morning [Thursday] and has not returned home, police said. 

He was last seen in the area of Grove Street and Howard Avenue. 

Cariolo is a white male, six feet tall, 180 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing a peach/orange colored polo shirt and flip flops. 

Cariolo takes medication daily and did not take the medication with him when he left the house. He has been listed as a silver alert.

Mercy is with her mother, Ashaire Gorham, in violation of a court order giving Mercy’s father custody. 

Mercy was last seen by her father on July 27, 2023. She has black hair and brown eyes. 

Ashaire Gorham is 5 foot 6 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes, and she should be driving Connecticut registration BK75207, a 2021 BMW X3 color black. 

Ashaire and Mercy were last known to be in Norwalk.

Adele Hansen, 80, was last known to be in the area of East Street at about 2:30 p.m. this afternoon, Jan. 9. 

Hansen is a white female, 5 foot 3 inches tall about 110 lbs., with blue eyes and gray hair. She may be wearing glasses.

Lt. Patrick Lynch said in a release today that Ariana left on her own but failed to bring her medication that she needs to take everyday. 

Ariana is a black female, 5 foot 6 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a red crop top and black shorts. Ariana was last seen in the area of Beaver Street and Pyramid Street.

Family asks help in locating Shelton man, missing since Jan.17

Jason Mastroianni **MISSING PERSON**

My cousin Jason Mastroianni's last known whereabouts were at his home on Thompson Street in Shelton, CT, on Monday, January 17, 2022. At some point during the day, he left the house, leaving behind his wallet, ID, keys, and car.

He has not been seen or heard from since.

*This is by no means normal for him to do and extremely concerning*

**Jason requires a cane and a back brace to simply ambulate, so if he left on foot he couldn't have gone far but if he got into a car, then it's possible for him to be anywhere.

Unfortunately, Jason does not meet the criteria for a silver alert, but that does not mean he is without medical issues that will cause him distress without treatment. He suffered a debilitating back and neck injury several years ago, which caused nerve damage, and he sees specialists who treat him for these issues. Jason always shows up for his appointments, but this past Friday, January 28, 2022, he did not show up for one of the most important ones he has.

Due to his medical condition, it's likely that he may seek medical attention if able to do so. So, in addition to the general public, I am asking for help from all the EMS, FD, PD, nurses, and doctors in the area and beyond.

It's possible that Jason might show up at an ER, an EMS Station, a Fire House, or a Police Station seeking help. It's also possible that someone else may call 911 for him. For those EMS services who post in different parts of a city or town, you see hundreds of people walking or driving by your ambulance daily and it's possible that you may come across Jason simply by being at a post.

So please, take a moment, look at his picture, and if you see him, please call the Shelton Police Department at 203-924-1544.

ANSONIA - The Ansonia Police Department is investigating a missing person case involving Brinda Lebron, a 77-year-old black female with Alzheimer's, who left her home on Farrell Drive sometime today [Friday]. 

Lebron is 5 foot 3 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds and she has black hair and brown eyes. 
It is unknown what clothing she was wearing. Prior to moving to Ansonia Lebron lived in Stratford and has in the past left Ansonia and gone to Stratford.
