Chifrijo in Ansonia to hold benefit for Leah Rondon Scholarship Fund
ANSONIA - A benefit for the Leah Rondon Scholarship Fund will be held at Chifrijo, 242 Main St., Jan. 16 from 1 p.m. to close.
The event will include guest bartenders, music, dancing, watching playoff football games, and much more.
Leah, 6, daughter of Henry and Colleen Rondon of Ansonia, was killed in a traffic accident in August, 2015.

Super Bowl benefit slated at Chifrijo for Leah Rondon Memorial Scholarship Fund

ANSONIA - Leah Marie Rondon, age 6, was a lifelong resident of Ansonia.
She was a kindergarten graduate of John C. Mead Elementary School and attended the Valley YMCA Preschool.
The Leah Rondon Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduating female student at Kolbe Cathedral High School in Bridgeport where Leah's father, Henry Rondon, is an administrator.
The Leah Rondon Fund is housed at the Valley Community Foundation and is designed to benefit Ansonia youth.
Chifrijo Restaurant is located at 242 Main St.
