Hot Stove Roundup slated for Silver Sluggers at Derby Public Library

DERBY - Derby Public Library will host Hot Stove Roundup sessions for Silver Sluggers at 10 a.m. on Thursdays, Jan. 3-31.
Ansonia resident Rich Marazzi, radio sports talk host, author, and MLB rules consultant and his Silver Sluggers discuss Major League Baseball to help get them through the off season. Drop in.

The 14th season of the weekly Silver Sluggers will begin at 10 a.m. April 4 in the Library’s Meeting Room. 

These informal sessions are held every Thursday  at 10 a.m. throughout the baseball season. 

New members of all ages are welcome! The Library is at 313 Elizabeth St.

Hot Stove Roundup sports talk session slated at Derby Public Library

DERBY - The Derby Public Library has scheduled a Hot Stove Roundup session of its popular Sports Talk series at 10 a.m. Feb. 2.  

Ansonia resident Rich Marazzi, who has authored six sports books, is a Major League Rules Consultant, former high 

school and college umpire, and hosted the radio talk show Inside Baseball for 17 years, has led the Library’s Silver Sluggers for the past 11 years.

Trades, signings and rumors of the Major League Baseball’s off season will be discussed.

As always, new members of all ages are welcome!  The 11th season of the weekly Sports Talk sessions will begin in April.
