Derby Historical Society to host Maritime Festival and Open House Saturday

 

ANSONIA - The Derby Historical Society Saturday will celebrate the history of the seafaring enterprise that inspired master mariners, such as the great Commodore Isaac Hull, Captains Claudius and Jerod Barteleme, Captain Mordecai Prindle, and Captain Thomas Vose.


Celebrate our Maritime history with the Derby Historical Society Saturday, Aug. 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the David Humphreys House, 37 Elm St.
It will feature music from "Thyme Awaye," Big Bear Trading Company, the Crew of the Mermayde, SZABO'S SEAFOOD, and more!

Entry is $5 per visitor.
