Rochelle to meet with constituents in Derby, Ansonia

HARTFORD - State Rep. Kara Rochelle, D-Ansonia/Derby, will host a pair of Coffee & Conversation events in the coming days as part of her monthly series to keep the public accurately informed and engaged in the democratic process. 

These forums are held to answer legislative questions, discuss topics in the news, provide clear facts and background information, and provide a way for members of the public to share policy ideas and feedback. 

Rochelle will host a Coffee & Conversation session Friday and every third Friday at the Valley Diner in Derby from 8-9 a.m. On Sept. 23,  Rochelle will be at Copper City Bar and Grill in Ansonia from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

“Being available to the people in our community is important to me,” Rochelle said Tuesday. “In providing a relaxed setting for discussion, I hope residents will feel the political process is accessible to them.  Let’s talk about how to build a better 104^th [District] and better Connecticut. I look forward to seeing everyone.”
