Photos from the Valley Market Place in Ansonia: Week 3

Britney Fernandes of Shelton, above, and her mom, Patti Pensanti create unique tea wreaths for any occasion. Their business is called 'A Spot of Tea.'
Check out their page at www.facebook.com/teawreaths and give it a 'Like' - I did!

Ansonia resident Phyllis Hyde shows off beaded bracelets made by a customer of Barb's Corner Consignment Shop, 25 West Main St., Ansonia. She runs the shop with Barbara Howard.

Sisters Maqila, left, and Maliqa Mosley of Ansonia sell scarves at the market place. I bought a pretty pink one to wear when the weather gets a bit cooler. Their business is 'Mosley's Crafts.'

Madison Greenlaw, 8, and her mother, Samantha Greenlaw, who recently moved to Ansonia, were selling paintings created by Madison to raise funds for her upcoming participation in a Little Miss pageant in Stamford.

ANSONIA - Wednesday evening's weather was picture perfect for the third Valley Market Place held on the Green in Veterans Park next to City Hall.

I'm sharing photos of just some of the craft and jewelry vendors who were participating for the first time.

Check out the info below for the city's schedule of summer events!
